Aerial Silks MAG (2024 version) is the equipment for those seeking stability. It is a Low Stretch fabric (low longitudinal stretch). What does this mean in practice? That you don't lose energy "bouncing" on the fabric while climbing. This makes it the ideal choice for beginners (easier to climb!) and for high-altitude performances where precision counts.

The set includes a swivel, which turns these silks into a professional stage prop. You can perform spectacular rotations and fast spins without the risk of twisting and locking the fabric. The new production technology means MAG is no longer "thick and meaty"—its texture and grip now resemble the world-renowned Firetoys Prodigy silks. It is handy, non-slip, and safe.

📐 How to Choose the Silk Length?

The silk is folded in half. To reach from the ceiling to the floor with the necessary slack (tail), use the formula:

Room Height *2m+ min. 1 meter of slack (minimum).

• Height 4.5 m ➡️ Choose 10 m Silk

• Height 5.5 m ➡️ Choose 12 m Silk

• Height 6.5 m ➡️ Choose 14 m Silk

• Height 7.5 m ➡️ Choose 16 m Silk

Need silks for a low room (2.2 - 3.5 m)? Assemble a short MAG silk by buying fabric by the meter and hardware separately.

Why do we need fabric lying on the floor?

It makes it easier to practice, learn figures, and wraps.

Important!

If you have too much fabric, it doesn't hinder training; in fact, it helps.

If you have too little fabric, there is no way to extend it.

If you found 16.5 m in your calculation choose Full set 18 m long.

Too much material on the floor does not bother you however if it is not enough it cannot be extended.

MAG - Unicycle - Prodigy?

What is the difference?

Mag is wider than Unicycle but not so wide as Prodigy. Has the elasticity 4 - 6%. 

For example: Unicycle fabric is 8 - 11% stretchy Prodigy fabric is 9 - 14 % stretchy.

Important Tips:

• When rigging, be careful not to damage the material with the carabiner.

• Before each use, check the material for holes or snags.

• A silk with serious damage is not safe to use.

• Practice without shoes, belts, protruding jewelry, or other sharp objects.
