Aerial silk fabric by the meter

Need a custom length of fabric for your aerial silk, replacing an existing silk, or equipping a studio with high ceilings? In this category, you can purchase aerial silk fabric by the meter. We offer high-quality Polish knitted fabrics designed specifically for aerial acrobatics, available in various widths, stretch levels, and vibrant colors.

Choose from three proven fabrics: the versatile and soft JUST, the wide and low-stretch MISTY, and the firm, stable MAG engineered for advanced performers. Calculate your required length using the formula: fabric length = 2 × rigging point height + 1 m margin.

Custom Cut Fabrics for Aerial Silks and Sashes

Ordering fabric by the meter is the ideal choice if you already own verified climbing hardware (descender, carabiners, swivel) or require non-standard lengths for your venue. All our knitted fabrics are manufactured in Poland following strict quality standards, ensuring predictable performance during practice and performance.

Which Aerial Fabric Should You Choose?

Each fabric variant offers distinct width and vertical stretch characteristics:

  • JUST (~150 cm wide, medium-stretch): A versatile medium-stretch fabric. Exceptionally soft and elastic, it provides excellent shock absorption. Recommended for home use, children, and beginners to intermediate students in aerial schools.
  • MISTY (~215 cm wide, low-stretch): An extra-wide, lightweight, thin fabric with minimal vertical give. Its generous width provides full body coverage during wraps, while low stretch makes climbing noticeably easier.
  • MAG (~150 cm wide, low-stretch): A professional low-stretch fabric (with slight transverse elasticity). It delivers a firm, stable grip highly valued by experienced performers executing complex sequences and dynamic drops at high elevations.

How to Calculate How Many Meters to Order

To ensure your silk allows sufficient material on the floor for foot wraps and floor poses, measure the height from the floor to your suspension point and apply this formula:

Required length = 2 × rigging point height + 1 m margin

The extra meter resting on the floor serves a clear purpose and can be adjusted if needed by retying the knot at the figure-eight descender.

Care and Maintenance for Aerial Fabrics

To preserve fabric integrity, always remove jewelry or clothing with sharp fasteners (zippers, hooks) before training. Wash fabrics using mild detergents without fabric softeners, as softeners reduce surface friction and impair grip.
