• Shock Absorption (Bungee Effect): This fabric features a slight longitudinal stretch. Why? So it "hurts less" during drops! The elasticity absorbs the flight energy, cushioning dynamic techniques (flips, rolls). Over time the material stabilizes, but this initial comfort is key.

• Perfect Grip: The material is not slippery and has the ideal thickness for gripping by children and adults.

This set gives you a choice:

1. 2-Point Rigging (Recommended): Classic "U" layout. The optimal distance between hooks is 60 cm (range 50-70 cm). This ensures stability and prevents "squeezing" the body in sitting poses.

2. 1-Point Rigging: You can clip both carabiners to a single hook.

📐 How to Choose the Hammock Length?

The key is the knot! We use approx. 1.5  m of material for each knot. Therefore, the hammock must be significantly longer than the room height.

• Ceiling Height 2.2 m – 2.5 m ➡️ Choose 5 m Hammock

• Ceiling Height 2.6 m – 3.0 m ➡️ Choose 6 m Hammock

• Ceiling Height 3.1 m – 4.5 m ➡️ Choose 7 m Hammock

(For early school-age children, we recommend the longer option, e.g., 6 m, which can be shortened/tied higher if needed).

🧼 Maintenance

• Wash at 40°C (remove carabiners!).

• It is necessary to untie the knots before washing.

Important Tips:

• When rigging, be careful not to damage the material with the carabiner.

• Before each use, check the material for holes or snags.

• A hammock with serious damage is not safe to use.

• Practice without shoes, belts, protruding jewelry, or other sharp objects.

At first the hammock is stretched lengthwise. Why?

Thanks to this it absorbs "falls" and dynamic techniques (flips flips ...). What is it stretching for? So that it hurts less - thanks to its elasticity after the "fall" the hammock absorbs  flight energy. This may seem strange at first. Over time the hammock will stretch and will not be as flexible anymore.

The hammock also stretches  longwide - all people up to 160 cm tall will easily lie down on their backs or stomachs hidden in a cocoon from head to toe.

What is the difference?

Our silks differ from the Voltige ones - Just is more stretchy more wide and not so thin.

Please note:

While putting up the hammock please be careful with the carabiner so as not to damage the fabric.
