Twister Singing Rock swivel - small and powerful
Thanks to the swivel the rope or the sling on which the equipment is suspended does not twist.
It allows free endless rotation.
Thanks to it we can perform spinning techniques - beautiful turns on a wheel or silks. It will be just as nice to roll on the hammocks. Rotating techniques are not only fun and spin like a carousel. Spinning techniques the so-called spins require separate skills to perform them nicely and correctly - without a swivel you will not learn them properly.
Is a swivel necessary?
No if you are just starting your aerial adventure.
No if you have a low room and every 10 cm of height matters.
Yes if you want to perform rotational techniques (spins i.e. making figures in turns).
Yes if you already have the equipment and want to buy something extra.
Why is there no swivel with a hammock or a hoop set?
Because it is not an essential element. Without it you can do exercises on props.
Because it is an element that additionally increases the sum of the order - and not everyone has such a spacious basket.
Because in low rooms the height of the prop will drop and this may affect the number of possibilities and techniques.
When to buy a swivel?
If you know that you spend more time in a hammock or on a lyra or on a silks than on the floor or if your child has it. Then buy it right away with the equipment.
Remember! To hang the equipment with a swivel you need an additional carabiner. So for props with 1 carabiner in the basket add an additional carabiner.
If you have motion sickness dizziness labyrinth problems definitely don't buy a swivel at the very beginning of your practice - it's better to get used to the dynamics and space on the prop first and then add the swivel.
